Chladni Plate - DPEA
My second senior year project at the DPEA was the Chladni Plate, a museum exhibit meant to teach young students about engineering, sound waves, and fluidized sand. With the exhibit, users can press buttons to grab and lift sand onto a square or circle chladni plate, which can then be vibrated at different frequencies to produce interesting patterns.
